Tracy Luttrell St Louis: Food in General

Food has always been a great passion of mine, even since I was little food was always a way to get me on your good side. Two of my favorite quotes have to do with food. Napoleon Bonaparte is quoted saying “an army marches on its stomach” and another quote was from my mom who said “the way to a man’s hear is through his stomach”. I love all types of food, I was lucky enough to grow up in an environment where I had all types of food made available to me as a young kid. Mexican food was my first passion, when I went to Mexico for the summer and I was able to try true 100% authentic Mexican food for the firs time it was like my eyes were opening to a whole new world of taste that I never had imagined before. Then after that I was set on my path, I went to Europe in college where I was able to try foods from the actual sources that I had only read in books. That was probably one of the happiest times of my life, while Americans have a passion for food it is different over there in Europe. It was an event when it was Dinner or Lunch time. When you heard them planning a lunch or dinner you would think they were planning an all out party by how excited they sounded. It is definitely more of an event over there then it is over here. The purpose of this blog post was to tell you guys to go out and try new things. It does not have to be from another country it can be something local to you. We are lucky enough to live in a county where we have different types of food all over and accessible to us at pretty affordable prices!
